This may be the most difficult part of the experiment. Deciding on a topic and creating a good question. You should select a project you can measure. You can use topics such as pets, hobbies, food, etc. Do not try to experiment in areas you have no previous knowledge. I am not expecting you to reinvent the wheel, but to discover knowledge about something you are already familiar. There are many websites that offer ideas but do not fit into a measurable experiment.
