3rd Grade - Michelle Tackett

Bulldogs

I am Michelle Tackett, and I'm a new member of the Leeton Elementary team teaching 3rd grade English Language Arts. I have devoted myself to working with children and families in Social Services, providing childcare in my home when my kids were little, and teaching. I taught one year of elementary music in Aurora, Colorado, then taught 5th grade for ten years at Knob Noster Elementary. I have an Elementary Education degree with a minor in English from UCM, and a Master's Degree from William Woods University in K-8 Administration.

I am a proud mom and grandma of three adult kids and three grandkids. I live in Warrensburg, as do my oldest daughter and her kids, and my son. My youngest daughter lives in Tucson and she recently got engaged! I have a dog and four cats that keep me busy playing, walking and cuddling.

We are going to have an awesomely amazing school year in 3rd grade!!
