Middle/High School Administrative Assistant: The Leeton R-X School District is seeking applications for an Administrative Assistant at the Middle/High school. Candidates for this position should have strong collaborative skills, demonstrate adequate skills and knowledge of office procedures and equipment, and understand office practices in ethics and confidentiality.  Major duties of the MS/HS administrative assistant are, but aren’t limited to, as follows: Answering phones, collect/verify attendance, make parent contacts in case of illness, filing reports/absentee notes/etc, type letters/flyers/advertisement for school events, admit student/community members into the building for school or meetings, collect group money for deposits, contact subs as needed, and other duties as assigned.  Leeton Middle/High School serves approximately 180 children in grades 6-12. Elementary School Counselor: The Leeton R-X School District is seeking applications for an Elementary School Counselor. Candidates for this position should have strong collaborative skills and a desire to see all children achieve at high levels. Leeton Elementary is engaged in the implementation of Response to Intervention, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports, and the Missouri Learning Standards. Primary responsibilities of this position include crisis intervention; classroom guidance; individual and small-group counseling; and supervision duties as assigned. K-5 Counseling certification is preferred. Leeton Elementary School serves approximately 150 children in grades K-5. Early Childhood Paraprofessional: Leeton Early Childhood Development Center is now accepting applications for a teacher in our early childhood center. A minimum of nine (9) college credit hours in early childhood, child-related courses, or current CDA credentials are required for this position. As part of the teaching team, you would be asked to help plan and implement age-appropriate activities that meet the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs of each child as well as the overall management of the classroom.
