Leeton High School Honors Veterans Day
Leeton High School held its annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th to honor those who have served our country. Students and staff began the day with an FCCLA prepared breakfast for local veterans and senior community members, offering homemade dishes and warm conversation in appreciation of their service. During the assembly, students, staff, and community members gathered for speeches, music, and tributes. Student speakers: Madeline Keary, Dani Schnake, Connor Davis, and Zoie Davis shared heartfelt messages of gratitude. Special thanks to Dean Underwood and Elliott Taper for the flag-folding ceremony, Blake and Luke Meyer for the presentation of colors, and Sergeant First Class Gary Courtney for serving as the guest speaker.
Leeton School District would like to sincerely thank all of our Veterans and families for a wonderful turnout and all of the support. We hope to see seats just as full next year to celebrate our honorable Veterans!
