Join us in welcoming Mrs. Alicia Barker to the Leeton Elementary team as our new Kindergarten teacher!
Mrs. Barker is currently earning her degree from Central Methodist University and has worked as a paraprofessional for the past five years.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, whether it's hiking, taking walks, or discovering new places to explore. She has been married for 11 years and is the proud mother of two children, Arianna and Weston.
Mrs. Barker is excited to join the district and can't wait to help students grow, learn, and succeed. We are thrilled to have her as part of the Bulldog family!

Leeton Elementary is excited to welcome Gabriela Garcia Lemus to our team! She will be teaching 1st grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Gabriela is a proud first-generation Hispanic college graduate, with a strong passion for education shaped by her family’s journey and dedication to creating new opportunities. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield, along with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development. Gabriela moved from California about a year ago and is happily married with three beautiful children. We’re excited to have her join our school family and look forward to the impact she’ll make with our students. Please join us in giving her a warm Bulldog welcome! 🐾💛

Leeton Elementary had our celebration parade last night, and it was a blast! We loved getting to see our students and families roll through as they received packets filled with all of their hard work and accomplishments from this year. We love celebrating our students and can’t wait for next year!

Elementary students are making memories one field day at a time! Students came ready to play, work together, and enjoy the sunshine. It’s a great day to be a Bulldog!

Students are diving into a real-life learning experience by playing the game of Life! Each student selected an age and profession, received a salary, and is working through the realities of budgeting and managing money. They’ve been house and car shopping, calculating taxes, and figuring out what they can truly afford while still leaving room for fun extras and “splurge” items. This has been a very eye opening experience for some of them and they are really diving into it.
