Kindergarten, first and second grade had a blast on their field trip today!! We started the day with a train ride from Sedalia and ended the day at Mystique Mountain in Warrensburg!!

Mrs.Rohaus' first grade students wrote a class book and today they celebrated being published authors by sharing their story with others in our district! Congratulations 1st Grade!

**Knob Noster and Leeton School Boards Agree to Football Cooperation for Fall 2024 Season**
Leeton, Missouri - 4/22/2024- The Leeton R-X School District and the Knob Noster R-VIII School District are pleased to announce that both school boards have agreed in principle to cooperate in football for the upcoming Fall 2024 season, catering to grades 9-12. The agreement will be submitted to MSHSAA for final approval.
This collaboration signifies a commitment to providing enhanced athletic opportunities for students in both districts, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship across communities. The joint effort will allow for a more robust football program, enriching the overall high school experience for student-athletes in both communities.
Coach Franklin, Head Football Coach at Knob Noster, will be visiting Leeton High School in the next few weeks. During his visit, Coach Franklin will meet with prospective athletes, share important information and schedules, and address any questions or concerns regarding the upcoming season.
More information will be disseminated when the details are finalized.

Leeton R-X School District is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Stronger Connections Grant (SCG) in the amount of $327,709.00 over the next 30 months. This grant will enable the district to enhance student supports within the school and in the broader community.
The focus of the grant will be on implementing targeted initiatives and programs that address student needs in areas such as mental health, social-emotional learning, and behavioral interventions. As part of this initiative, Leeton R-X School District is actively hiring a School Social Worker and Behavioral Interventionist to join its dedicated team.
