🚀🔬 9th Grade Physical Science: Diving into Density! 🔬🚀
Our 9th graders are kicking off an exciting new unit over Matter! We’ve wrapped up Physics for the year and are now jumping into the world of Chemistry. 🧪✨
Yesterday, students put their knowledge of density to the test with a hands-on lab! Using irregularly shaped objects like screws, limestone, granite, rubber stoppers, wood, and marbles, they calculated density by measuring mass and volume with water displacement. 💧⚖️
Tomorrow, they'll wrap up this lab and later this week, they'll take on the challenge of finding the density of regularly shaped objects. Stay tuned for more scientific discoveries! 🔍👩🔬👨🔬

🌿🔥 Hands-On Learning in Foods 2! 🔪🍴
Our Foods 2 class has been busy exploring the world of herbs, spices, garnishes, and appetizers! This week, students put their knife skills to the test, practicing on fresh veggies and fruits to create beautiful garnishes. 🍊🥕🌱
Today, they wrapped up their learning with a delicious appetizer feast—complete with meatballs, wings, and fried pickles! 😋👏 Garnishes were crafted from carrots, radishes, celery, limes, and oranges, adding the perfect finishing touch.
A big thank you to Ms. Kathy O’Dell, our amazing FCS teacher, for guiding our students through this hands-on experience! 🎉
